Hallowe'en traffic jam

A WITCH who didn't know which way has ended up stuck in a tree in Chalfont St Peter.

Residents of Woodside Hill have been shocked to see the crone wedged into a large tree along the road.

The witch was stuck into the tree by a couple who live along the road for a Hallowe'en prank, but they have since gone on holiday.

Michael Sharpe, who lives near to the road, said: "It's hilarious. Everyone who walks or drives down the road stops to have a look.

They've done a really good job because it looks very realistic and it's really eye-catching.
"People often do this sort of thing at Christmas but it is quite unusual to see it done for Hallowe'en. Lots of people have been out here taking pictures of it."

We'd like to hear from you.
