Plan to provide more for young people to do

Youngsters in Denham should soon be unable to complain about having nothing to do thanks to a new scheme.
Denham Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) and the South Bucks Youth Team have recognised that there is very little to do in the village for those aged between 11 and 14.

In the past, this boredom has led to anti-social behaviour, so in order to combat this, the groups have joined forces to come up with a plan.
Over the next few weeks, South Bucks Youth Team will visit youngsters on the streets and talk to them about their needs, and will use this information to deliver activities in the area every fortnight.
They also plan to regularly transport youngsters to and from the youth centre in Gerrards Cross.
A statement from the NAG said: "The youth team will be measuring any impact they have had on reducing anti-social behaviour. The NAG is hopeful that this will be the start of a programme of activities that meet the needs of the young people of Denham and reduces anti-social behaviour significantly."
