New church window unveiled

CSP-Church-Window.jpgThe loyalty a church can inspire was evident when 13 former priests attended a ceremony to mark a new stained glass window at All Saints Church.
The church, in Oval Way, Chalfont St Peter commissioned a new window as it approached its centenary.

It commemorates St Cecilia, who is the patron saint of musicians and church music, because the church has a strong musical tradition both in its regular worship and in the annual music festival which it organises.
Last Sunday the Bishop of Oxford, The Right Reverend John Pritchard dedicated the new window and 13 past priests and 100 members of the congregation attended.
The window sits in a archway originally meant to lead to the second part of the church but building stopped during the outbreak of the war and there were no funds to complete the building.
