Students and their parents attended the ceremony at the school in Chalfont St Peter, which was held on Wednesday last week, to see ex-pupils Mike Clare and Tom Inker hand out the prizes.

Mr Clare was until recently chairman of the bed superstore Dreams, which he founded, while Mr Inker has recently completed a Masters degree at Cambridge University.
The awards were held to celebrate the school's best ever A Level and GCSE results which were released over summer, and some of the individual performances of pupils were recognised.
Among the winners were Jessica Brown, 17, and Hayley Millar, who received the trophy Outstanding Academic Achievement for their success in their GCSEs and A Levels respectively.
Jessica said: "I was really pleased to get the award. I was not expecting it at all so it was really nice surprise. I felt really proud to be given it and it's a really nice thing to have."
The award for Outstanding Progress was given to David Allen, while the trophy for Contribution to the Life of the College was won by Matthew Gaude, 18.
He said: "It was a real honour to get the award. We had no idea who was going to win what so it was a big surprise when my name was called out. I'm very happy to have won this and to have my name on the shield."
In this year's A Levels, the school achieved a 97 per cent pass rate, while in the GCSEs it saw 73 per cent of its pupils achieve a grade A*-C, both of which are the best results the school has ever managed.
During the presentation, the audience were entertained by Year 12 pupils Louisa Shelswell, who won this year's Outstanding Composer prize.

We'd like to hear from you.
