SOTW-Robertswood-18.12.jpgThis week reporter JACK ABELL paid a visit to Roberstwood school in Chalfont St Peter to chat with the children there.

What is you favourite subject in school?
Toby Pickard, 10: Art and DT. I like art because I think it is really creative and interesting.
Jordan Cordina, 10: I've got three subjects that I really enjoy. I like art, English and geography. I like drawing, writing stories and learning about other countries.
Amy Harber, 9: History because I like learning about the past. I like learning about the Victorians especially.
Sophie McClelland, 7: My favourite subject is reading but I like going swimming as well.
Ella Roberts, 7: Literacy because I like writing stories.
Samir Brahmbhatt, 5: I like play time because it is the most fun part of the day.

If you could go anywhere on a school trip where would you go?
Toby: I'd like to go to Thorpe Park. I haven't been before and I'd like to see all the rides that they have there.
Jordan: I would like to go to a zoo so I could be a zookeeper for the day because I love animals.
Amy: I would go to Chessington World of Adventures because of all the good rides. I've been before and it was fun.
Sophie: I think I would go to the zoo and see all the animals. My favourite animal is either a shark or a zebra.
Ella: I would go to the zoo as well so that I could see the tigers because they are my favourite.
Samir: I would go to Ruislip. I've been there with my mum and dad and it was good.

If you could meet anyone famous, who would it be?
Toby: I would like to meet Leona Lewis because I think that she is a really good singer.
Jordan: I think I would like to meet a famous birdwatcher so that I could learn about different types of birds.
Amy: I'd like to meet Paris Hilton to see what she looks like in real life.
Sophie: I would meet Roald Dahl because I really like his books. My favourite is the Enormous Crocodile.
Ella: I think I would like to meet someone out of the Guiness book of records because I think that would be really interesting.
Samir: I would like to meet an Indian singer because I really like that kind of music.

What do you want for Christmas this year?
Toby: I'd like a Hornby train set because I really like the look of them and I've never had one.
Jordan: I would like some Goosebumps books because that is my favourite series.
Amy: An iPod because I like listening to music and my mum wants my old one.
Sophie: I'd like an iPod as well because I would like to be able to have all my music and games in one place.
Ella: I would like some games for my DS. I haven't got many at the moment.
Samir: I want some toy monsters that I saw an advert for on the TV.

If you had £1,000 to spend on anything you wanted, what would you buy?
Toby: I would buy a big house in the countryside so that lots of people could come and stay with me.
Jordan: I'd probably give £500 to the school and spend the rest on stuff for me.
Amy: I'd buy lots of shoes and clothes and things like that.
Sophie: I would want to have a holiday in Spain with my mum and dad because it is hot there.
Ella: I might buy a new pet. I think I would probably get a cat.
Samir: I would buy a really fast car and drive it around everywhere.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
Toby: I'd like to be a singer because I've been told I'm quite good and I love doing it.
Jordan: An animal conservationist because I love animals and I'd like to protect them.
Amy: A teacher because I play it sometimes with my brother and he said he think I'd make a good teacher.
Sophie: I'd like to be a dancer because then I could dance around everywhere.
Ella: I would like to be a museum keeper because I think that would be an interesting job.
Samir: A policeman so I could help people and catch baddies.

We'd like to hear from you.
