It was the second visit this year by the team from Milton Keynes, and was designed as part of an ongoing scheme by Chalfont St Peter police to increase their presence and profile in the village.

The visits have come following heavy criticism of the police from villagers, after several parts of Chalfont St Peter suffered badly from anti-social behaviour and vandalism in recent months.
The team patrolled around the village and visited streets including Pennington Road and Lovel Road, where crime has been a problem for residents.
PC Jim Clarke said: "It was a very good day, and it was designed as a way of increasing our visibility in the village. After the success of their last visit we were keen for them to come back, and so we were very pleased that they were able to.
"While they were on patrol, we stopped three local lads who are notorious for bad behaviour, and we searched them. They turned out not to have anything on them, but they got the shock of their lives when they stopped by police on horses."
It is hoped that the team will return to the village in the near future for another patrol.
PC Clarke added: "We have found that both of these patrols have worked very well, so we would obviously like to do more of them if it is possible. We have been doing a number of operations recently to put a stop to anti-social behaviour. Some of them are high profile, like this, and some are more covert, but hopefully it will all result in less crime in the village."

We'd like to hear from you.
