22075361 TVP.jpgThe teenage victim of a vicious mugging in Chalfont St Peter has told of his shock at being attacked and beaten outside his home by three thugs.
The incident happened shortly after midnight on Saturday morning in a quiet residential road off the A413 in Chalfont St Peter.
The 18-year-old, who has asked not to be named, had his mobile phone taken from him by the gang, who walked away laughing after they attacked him.

Speaking exclusively to the Advertiser, the victim said: "I had been round a friend's house for the evening and was given a lift home. I was dropped at the bottom of my road and I was walking the short distance to my house when a figure emerged from the driveway of the house next door to me.
"The house is currently unoccupied so I don't know what he had been doing there. He stood in front of me, blocking my path, and asked me to give him my wallet. I said no and tried to keep walking but he asked me again so I gave him it because there wasn't anything in it. When I handed it over he threw it on the floor without looking inside it."
Two other youths then emerged from the driveway and the first one then hit him hard in the stomach.
The victim added: "I was sort of expecting to be hit but I was still very shocked. I thought that it would be best to lay on the floor and pretend to be hurt worse than I was. When I was down there, they went through my pockets and eventually found my phone, and after they had taken it they walked away laughing and mocking. Throughout the whole thing I did not get a decent look at any of them because the street lights along the road have all been switched off."
The victim then came into his house and told his parents what had happened before contacting the police who came quickly to the house and took a statement from him.
An investigation to find the gang is currently underway, but no arrests have yet been made.
The gang were all around 20 with shaved heads and they were wearing black.
The victim said: "It has made me more wary of going out and makes you realise that if you can get mugged outside your own home then it can happen anywhere at all."
Anyone with any information should call the police on 0845 8 505 505, or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Another reason for the council to keep the street lights on. A mugging here, a fatality on the A40, several car accidents. Can the Bucks Ad start a campaign to get the council to see some common sense? You would get loads of support
