NOISY motorbikes ridden by youths are causing anger and frustration for a host of residents in Chalfont St Peter.
People living in the Leachcroft area and on the other side of the village towards on land near to the National Society for Epilepsy (NSE) have made regular complaints to the police about the noise caused by the youths, who ride their vehicles on land near to their homes.

Things came to a head this week in the early hours of Monday morning, when there more reports of the problem.
One resident, who asked not to be named, said: "It is getting ridiculous. It's a regular problem and the noise is terrible. These kids have no respect for anyone else and only care about having a good time.
"I can see that it might seem like fun if you are a young lad, but the fact is that it is ruining people's way of life, especially when it happens at 3am. I can't believe how little consideration there is for anyone else."
Police say that they are aware of the problem and are coming up with ideas as to how to put a stop to it.
PC Jim Clarke said: "This has been going on for some time, but the problem is that we do not have the correct vehicles to chase them. If they escape over fields, are cars are not able to follow them.
"We are aware of how many problems they are causing. I heard of one woman who owns horse who had to tranquilise the animals because the noise was frightening them so much. We are doing all that we can to stop the problem."
