A BURGLAR from Chalfont St Peter who led police across three counties in a dramatic high speed chase has been jailed.
James Cash, 26, of Hillside Close, was sentenced on September 18 after pleading guilty to burglary and theft earlier this year.

Cash, and Michael Sheridan, 22, of Harefield received a combined sentence of three years and five months in jail.
On January 12, the pair burgled a house in Hemel Hempstead at around 9.30pm, taking some car keys which had been left on a worktop in the kitchen.
The owners, who were in the house, then heard their Mercedes being driven off towards St Albans.
They called police, who then tracked the car as it went through Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
The pair were eventually arrested after colliding with one of the police cars pursuing it, and making off on foot.
They were caught in a field in Oxfordshire near to the M40 just before 11.30pm and taken to Hemel Police Station, after a chase involving police helicopters, cars and the dog unit.
Cash was eventually given 16 months in prison for the two offences, while Sheridan was given 16 months as well as having two suspended sentences reactivated, bringing his total to 26 months.
Det Con Marc Willmore said: "I am really pleased with this result. It demonstrates how seriously we take burglaries of this kind, where keys are taken to then steal residents' cars.
"It also sends a really strong message that, if you commit this kind of crime, we will do everything we cant to bring you to justice. Going to a different county is by no means a way to escape as we will still catch you.
"I would like to thank those from the different units in neighbouring forces who all worked to capture these offenders."

We'd like to hear from you.
