A ROTARY club has given a donation of thousands of pounds to a hospice.
The Rotary Club of Gerrards Cross and Chalfont St Peter gave a cheque for £4,000 to the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home.
The group had worked for the past few months to raise the money.
Jim Patterson, chairman of the group, said: "The origins of the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home have strong local links and its nomination as a rotary charity was not only welcomed by rotary members, but enthusiastically supported with generous donations by residents."
