THE recent mystery surrounding pictures of apparent UFOs over Chalfont St Giles has been revealed as the beginning of an elaborate story.
Over the last month, the Advertiser has received a number of pictures showing a UFO hovering over the village, or being chased by military fighter jets.
A SERIES of summits are set to be held to discuss the Government proposals for the possible high speed rail network that could cut through the Chilterns.
The summit will involve the four district councils in Buckinghamshire as well as the county council, and will see key campaign leaders being invited to discuss the business case that underpins the High Speed Two proposals.
A MAN was beaten up and needed hospital treatment after a late night assault in Chalfont St Peter.
The incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday morning in Chipstead off Layters Green Lane.
A MYSTERIOUS video has appeared on the internet, supposedly showing a UFO hovering over Chalfont St Giles.
The video, which has been posted on You Tube, shows the alien aircraft over the pond and Merlin's Cave pub in the village centre.
