OUR READERS have condemned the results of the Bucks Debates, saying that Bucks County Council's (BCC's) claims that residents want to see less money spent on street lighting and road safety are "ludicrous."
BCC has said that the public has told them through their debates programme that it is in these areas that people want to see money saved.
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE County Council (BCC) has announced its findings from the Bucks Debates and has claimed that people want to see savings made on road safety and street lighting.
Last month, BCC held a number of public debates at sites around the county in which people were asked their views on where they want to see money cut so that the council can make huge savings over the coming years.
