MattyGOSH.jpgA BRAVE youngster who lost his sight in one eye after battling a dangerous eye infection, is running a 5K race for charity.

Matty Thomas, 12, from Chalfont St Giles, was disgnosed with Toxoplasmosis in November 2009 after telling his dad Mike that he couldn't see properly.

The condition developed quickly and 15 months ago Matty lost the sight in his right eye after a hole developed in his retina.
